Gotta Love Staples

So, I turned on the computer this morning and it worked perfectly. I love my computer : ) It makes me happy. I went in the basement and poured my piggy bank molds. When I came back upstairs, I went to the computer to check email and....and....and my monitor was blank. Nothing was happening. I could hear the computer running, but I could barely see some kind of flashing going on the screen. Oh crap. Crapcrapcrap.

I've replaced just about everything else in this computer, guess it is time for the monitor. So, do I race to bestbuy? Or the library and see what I can find online? Then it hits me....Eowyn is home with her laptop. Yay! I can shop online and not leave the house.

So I checked out several websites and found a decent 19" flat panel monitor at staples.com. It is only $169 AND free next business day delivery. Woohoo! I'll have a new monitor sometime tomorrow! And I didn't even have to leave the house. Which is a good thing because Eowyn has the car so she could work with her cousin to earn a little $.

And so I am fumbling around on her laptop. The keyboard is too small for me and I don't know how to hilight text. But at least I can stay connected and keep blogging : )
