A Pet Peeve

Not much to blog about right now, but I have one pet peeve. Well, there's more, but I am just going to write about one for now.

What stupid idiot Who on earth in advertising thought it was a good idea to make a commercial with a doorbell ringing in it??? Obviously it had to be a man someone without dogs. Because one of my dogs hears that doorbell in the commercial and grumbles. The other dog hears the grumbling and barks. I am yelling at them both to shush!

But then it is too late, because one dog HAS to out-bark the other and, in seconds, OMG, all hell breaks loose. They are running up and down the hall, barking their fool heads off, and I am screaming at them to shut the f**k up be quiet , all the while cursing like a sailor at the man (it had to be a man) who made this commercial.

Did I mention, it never fails, when those commercials come on I am painting detail on a piggy bank and I get startled out of my skin? Oh, it is sooooo aggravating.

Ha, I just noticed I called this a pet peeve. Get it? Pet peeve. Sometimes I amuse myself (if no one else : ) Back to my regularly scheduled day....

You amuse me, too! I know about the commercial too or should I say my dog does! And the ones where people knock...he runs from door to door, yipping and barking. Drives me crazy!

Yes, and what about the phone ringing?

Marrdy

You amuse me too. I love reading your animal stories!

too funny, I love my dogs, but I wish I could make them stop barking so much, and I know what you mean about one getting the other going, once they start, even if they figure out they are barking at nothing, there is no shutting them up.

Oh no! It's not bad enough that that's just annoying in the first place, but to make you mess up one of your banks!!! It definitely was a man!

McEwens

you amuse me! IT is true, why do they do that !!!!

Jan

You ALWAYS amuse me!

And while I can't relate to the dog howling at the televised doorbell, I CAN relate to the dog howling.

Period.

NO ONE - did I say that loudly enough? - NO ONE can walk, jog, stroll, saunter, skip, mosey, run, crawl, or shuffle-off-to-effing-Buffalo down the street in front of our house without Scooter getting worked into a frenzy.

It's a darn good thing I'm so attached to the little bugger.

No one is allowed to go down our road either. I always ask Hubby why do they choose our peaceful country road to walk down? It must be the walk from Hell if our dogs are out. I guess maybe it motivates them to walk faster : )

And I am glad I amuse all of you and not just myself : )

The Nice One

Oh my gosh...I actually was just cussing about the same thing!!!! I keep thinking there's a kid at my door or something!

Okay, the M and Ms...were on the clearance rack at the Super Wal-Mart.
I am actually going back tomorrow to see if they have anymore. Apparently I want to gain back all the weight I lost.

I ADORE your blog title picture!!!

Oh, I will have to check the clearance rack then. They were so yummy.

And for my header picture....I took some of my ceramic dust and smeared on my hallway table and wrote in it : ) I thought about doing the tv, but I didn't know if I could get it dusty enough. Glad you like it.

just a girl...

lol this one has caught me a few times.
