Wednesday's To-Do List & Stuff
I am way behind on blogs again. I have been really concentrating on not reading blogs working and getting a little caught up. So my unread blog posts are piling up. I will catch up....I will read them all, but just a reminder, I won't be able to leave comments on all 100+ posts : ) So, if you see this <('(..)')> you'll know I was there. No, I did not make the little piggy icon thingy. I found it years ago somewhere and thought it was cute : )
Some of you commented on the view I have from my house. We do have a nice view. We live on top of a hill in a nice neighborhood. Our back yard is 2 acres, and then there is a field behind that. Off to the south, past a couple houses, you can literally see for miles. I'll take a picture on a nice clear day. It really is a pretty sight in the fall. Sometimes I forget how lucky we are to be living here. Thanks for reminding me.
Last night, for CCD (sunday school, not on sunday) I took Leia to a personal care home for some communtiy service. We go and play bingo with the residents for an hour. I had to smile because when one of the residents would win, they would giggle like kid. And then they could choose a prize from candy, chips or pop (soda). They all chose pop. Hehehe. Just like kids would. It was very cute to see these older folks' eyes light up when they grabbed their prize and sat back down. Just wanted to share that.....
On with today's list....

Most of the time with the older folks it's the little things.
Funny...I love to hear "Yankee's" say pop! On the other hand, you probably laugh at us for calling all soda "coke"!
I saw the piggy symbol in my comments!! :)

I've never crossed paths with the GWH boys, but they filmed in Southie with is about 10 minutes from where I grew up. Local boys made good!

WHat a fun night. I love visiting the "old" folks. They are so cute. I saw your little piggy sign and was glad you could stop by. Now, you take care of yourself and get some sleep...do you hear me??

Have to tell ya, I've ever read your blog before - this is my very first post I've read.
